"Steins;Gate" Spin-Off Manga Sequel Takes Place at School
Newly-serialized in Monthly Comic Blade, the continuation of Steins;Gate Hiyoku Renri no Sweets Honey by Taishi Tsutsui (Fukashigi Philia, from the same magazine; on-going) takes place in...a school?!?
Steins;Gate Motto Hiyoku Renri no Sweets Honey tells the story of what happens when the lab members accidentally become high schoolers (presumably through some time travel mishap), but end up having fun with their newly established student life. Anyone interested in seeing what Rintarō and Mayuri were like back in the day?

Wasn't an interesting anime to me in the first place. But I did hear the ps3 Steins;Gate game will come out May 24th.

Hanasaku Iroha Film Sequel Debuts 2012
Hanasaku Iroha’s upcoming sequel entitled “Home Sweet Home” will be a film, and it shall debut this year – no further information is available for the time being, yet the series’ fourth manga volume has confirmed as much.
With no other details as of now, one can do no more than speculate – for one, a few will find disbelief in that “Home Sweet Home” is a film versus an OVA, or a second season of the TV series. Being a film however, arrival of several obvious and generic questions ensues – the greatest of which being what the movie will entitle. This will be the first time P.A. Works makes a film based off a series they’ve produced – and this means a two hour or so escapade of “festing it up”, and all other manner of memorable Ohana antics.
The film could take the route of foundations laid, but never developed, in the TV series – such as the inheritance of the inn. No matter, we’ll merely have to wait and see what spectacle on the so-called “big screen” that our main character cast of highschool girls will experience.

Adult Swim's Toonami Block to Air Casshern Sins, Deadman Wonderland (Updated)
Adult Swim, the cable and satellite network that is paired with Cartoon Network, is listing on its schedule that it will air the Deadman Wonderland and Casshern Sins television anime series on Sunday, May 27 at 12:30 a.m. and 1:00 a.m., respectively. The schedule lists that both series will then air again at 3:30 a.m. and 4:00 a.m.
Jason DeMarco, former Toonami producer and recently promoted vice president of strategic marketing and promotions for Cartoon Network and Adult Swim, confirmed this schedule on Monday via his Twitter account.
DeMarco added that Toonami will not be showing Naruto, Dragon Ball Z, and similar titles since "the rights to those shows are owned by our competition or are out of our price range." He continued, "Something you should know about THIS Toonami: We have very, very little $$. This experiment will need ratings success to receive more funding for new shows, more [mascot character] Tom animation, etc. I'm thankful for the $$ we've gotten, but it isn't a lot."
DeMarco also clarified Adult Swim's May 16 press release, which said that the network is developing "new original anime programming" for Toonami's return. Toonami will not have original titles created specifically for the programming block, "just new acquisitions." DeMarco said that he personally "love[s] One Piece and would love to see it on CN again" along with Gundam Wing. Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt, Fairy Tail, and Inuyasha: The Final Act are some of the "many shows we've been looking at" or discussed.
DeMarco confirmed that Steven Blum will reprise his role of Tom, which "will be an updated hi-res version of Tom 3.0" aboard a slightly different but almost identical version of the spaceship Absolution. However, the character Sara will not appear for now ("costs too much to make"), and Peter Cullen will not be the voice of the block's promos due to his busy work schedule. The anime titles will keep their theme songs, and Toonami "will make our own 'pre' intros."

The official website for the Fairy Tail: Hōō no Miko (Fairy Tail: Priestess of the Phoenix) film began streaming a promotional video on Wednesday to showcase the bonus manga that comes bundled with advance tickets. Fairy Tail manga creator Hiro Mashima personally drew a 30-page "Hajimari no Asa" (The First Morning) manga prologue to the film.

The World God Only Knows Anime Gets 3rd Season & Spinoff OVA
The World God Only Knows Anime Gets 3rd Season & Spinoff OVA
2013's combined 2nd/3rd issue of Shogakukan's Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine is announcing on Wednesday that production on a third anime season of The World God Only Knows (Kami Nomi zo Shiru Sekai) has been green-lit. Production on a spinoff original video anime about the idol character Kanon has also been green-lit. Both projects are inspired by Tamiki Wakaki's The World God Only Knows manga series.
The manga already inspired two television anime seasons, a prologue original anime DVD, and additional original video anime DVDs. Crunchyroll streamed both television seasons into several countries as they aired in Japan, and Sentai Filmworks licensed both seasons for North America.
