my uncle had a dell laptop after a week it fell and a piece came off.
but the laptop was fine suddenly after a month the laptop stopped working.
It fell and a piece came off? That's not Dell making a bad product. That's your uncle dropping a computer.
yea but how come after 2 weeks the laptop stopped working he was only doing workstuff on it

Mostly school, if I'm ever gonna install a game on it, it would be a trainsimulator or whatever. Got a PS3 for extreme gaming. I follow the education Webdeveloper/Gamedeveloper so I'll be doing stuff a lot with programs such as Visual Studio and such. I will learn how to create applications, games and websites. So I need some good stuff. Not extremely good stuff, but it's gotta be decent.

What are you talking about lol? Hp is not that bad, my father has an HP laptop, never had any problems with it. I just trust ASUS more, that's why i recommended it above anything else.
Depends how old his laptop is, because the older ones are good, but the recent ones suck.
BTW Yes Alienware is part of dell but they're not the same, is like, Lexus is from Toyota, but they're not the same thing.

Re: Which
Here's a decent questionnaire for which type of computer would be best suited for your needs.
