I have my original ps1 too. Only have ff7, Legend of Dragoon and FF Tactics. Lost my other games. You should just get a ps1 emulator and download ps1 roms. I have over 100 games if you want any.

Um, the ps1 came out in 1994. The ps2 came out in 2000. And the ps3 came out in 2006. Sony makes a new console every 6 years, not every year like you seem to think.

Plus, the ps3 are from $299 for the 120 gb hd or like $200 for the 80. And they keep cutting costs multiple times a year. Like during summer, fall break and winter vacation for Christmas. Really, how broke are you?

I've had all of those. Cept the 360. All I have left is my original PS, my original Xbox, Sega Genisis, Nintendo and my Atari. I sticky mainly to emulator for console games.

what the hell does it matter how long it takes, they come with something new evrything anyway so people buy more

Sony said they want to keep the ps3 running for 10 years, that means they will probably come with a ps4 in 2016, I've had mine since 2006 so if i keep it for 10 years it's not that expensive o,O

Well, they wanted to keep the ps2 for 10 years as well. But they seem to be pretty steady on releasing every 6 years. Even if you have it for 6-7 years its worth it. Hell, I've had my ORIGINAL Playstation since 1996. 14 years later and its still running great.

Wow. But a lot of my friends got the 1st or 2nd generation models. I think that's why. I always wait at least a year before buying a new console. That way a new gen can come out and the price drops.
