I thought it was coming out too, no wonder I haven't seen it. I haven't even see any news of it lately. I wonder what happen to it, I personally don't think it got canceled.

It would be weird that it got cancelled, Pupa seemed good and I'm sure a lot of people were anticipating it, honestly it was the only one that caught my attention, so I'd be disappointed if it didn't come out.

I always thought the size was wrong to watch movies on. I could watch them on my phone if I wanted to have something portable and in all other occasions I could either use my TV or my laptop. Never knew tablets were so much easier (also easier on the eyes in comparison to phones imo)

"An interview in the 16th volume of “VoiceGirls” magazine reveals the animation is actually only a five-minute short series."

So it seems that Pupa hasn't come out yet. That's why we haven't seen any news of it lately. I don't have any info on when it's coming out, but when I find out I will let you guys know.

I heard people say that was only a rumor and that the real reason for it not airing is because there are no TV-stations that want to broadcast it uncensored (which is what the studio wants).

I don't see that being possible. If they wanted truly uncensored they could ask ATX TV station. ATX never censors their anime.

Also to clarify something that might have gotten some of you confused. It's not going to be a 5 min anime episode. It's going to be 5 minutes per episode. They are fitting 1 manga chapter per episode. It will most likely air this upcoming anime season. I don't think they got the anime slot on time, so the studio will most likely get one next season.

but yes it's a fact there's no information out on when pupa will air or if it will actually air including how long the episodes will be 5min,25min,15min,....)

why it didn't air yet is something one can only guess.

I started Kuroko No Basketball, I want to catch up before this season is over. I like it so far, and this is my first sport anime too.
