For those of you who like One Piece(theory)

Could be. It has been a while since the arc with Rayleigh. Did he say anything about how he was as a pirate?

edit: comparing the Roger pirates and the strawhats:

Roger - Luffy (captain and ALOT alike)
Crocus - Chopper (skilled doctor)
Buggy - Usopp (coward)
Rayleigh - Zoro (swordsman)
Shanks - ?? (not sure how Shanks fought)

I don't like the Rogers/Strawhat pirates comparisons, they're unique and should be portrayed so, not as a copy of a dead crew.

Plus if you do it like that most crews would be the same.

But you cant ignore it. Especially how Luffy is re-doing pretty much evrything Roger did.

Then why post a video where Rayleigh gets compared to Zoro

What going around the world and making friends? Plus I don't see any similarities between the two except how they don't give a fuck and are stupid and that's a characteristic of most D's.

Also the video isn't about Zoro and Rayleigh comparisons but to support the theory that Rayleigh was the best swordsman in the world at some point. I find that itself more interesting than the similarities between the three.

I think its a huge guess judging pretty much on a scar. But we'll see.

It's not just the scar but Mihawk's coat and the one Rayleigh had when younger.

I wouldn't compare Luffy's crew to Gold Roger's crew, they might look similar but are way different.

Plus what do we really know about Roger's crew lol, not much at all.

That the captain was the pirate king O.o And in the long run from what we do know about Roger, Luffy is following his footsteps pretty nicely. Not a bad thing at all like you guys are tying to make it look like.

Another question, just how strong was Roger? Have we heard anything about that?

Uhmm I forgot who but someone once said Roger would wipe the floor with all the big shots. Meaning he was the strongest.

Yeah i thought i heard someone say that too once. Man stronger than whitebeard in his prime.. (considering its years ago that Roger lived)

Roger was so strong that even when he was sick he was stronger than anyone during his time. He was so strong that not even the navy wanted to go after him anymore, so he ended up giving him self up.

How about Garp? He was Rogers ''enemy''. Did he also give up? All i remember was that Roger got bored cuz he owned evrything in the world when he was the pirate king and thats why he gave himself in. Might have forgotten some things though

Not everyone knew Roger was sick. Garp was one of them (Or at least he sort of knew something was wrong). If i was Garp, I would have wanted to take down Roger when he was at his prime. Garp respected Roger so much he took care of Ace.


So to me it seems like Garp did give up. He was too prideful to want to take down Roger when he was sick. I know I wouldn't have done it. So he sort of did give up.

I like the Garp and Roger relationship, to me they don't seem like enemies, but rivals that respect each other. They even seemed a bit friendly to me, in that flashback where Garp went to see him in jail and Roger told him about Ace.

Yeah is the same relationship Smoker has with Luffy.

Nah i dont think so. Roger and Garp respected eachother more. Smoker hates the strawhats and Luffy just plays around with him over and over. They only know eachother for 2 years thouggh
