I'm watching all the anime atm, by episode 3 or 4 I should know what I will be watching and what I will drop. I already dropped 4 anime that were just plain boring from the start.

Since Hakuouki Reimeiroku is a prequel to Hakuouki, is it ok to watch this before watching Hakuouki itself? Any1 know that?

It just seems like every run of the mill feudal war anime. what actually bothers me about the show is the over usage of cgi. Its not necessary all the time. Sometimes its cool, but it makes Xin look retarded. And since they're in China, its Xin, not Shin. They're pronounced the same way, but for the era and where they are he wouldn't have a Japanese name. Are you watching one of the subs that translates it to Shin? Cause mine say Xin.

Mine says Xin but it sounds like Shin so i thought they had it wrong xD and yeah something he looks retarded but ohwell. I do like the story and evrything. I've never watched an anime like this

Don't get me wrong. I still like it. The whole feudal war story is just a bit over used though. And other than the horrible animation at time I have no other complaints. The cgi looks fine on everything but the characters.

Animation is just one of the key things I look for.

Originality, story, pace, music, animation and detail.

With so many animes originality is also hard to think of. Evrything has been done. But yeah it is important. But the story and the pace of how fast an ep goes for me is the most important for me. If an ep goes by fast then it means im rly liking it. And its important for me if theres good music, good characters and ofcourse if they can keep interesting.

I was watching DB with Pilaf and i thought he sounded ALOT like Buggy from One Piece. So i checked his voice actor on myanimelist and turns out Pilaf and Buggy have the same voice actor Very Happy
