Anime Saturdays

I liked getting together on vent to bs while we watched OP. While I don't like the anime, I do like the idea of us all trying to get together once a week and watch a movie or start a short anime together. We can watch movies / specials. And also start small series together ( something like 13 - 24 episodes ) we would all get together and only watch it with each other. Like 5 - 6 episodes every Saturday. We would vote for what we're watching the entire week before hand as well. Any thoughts?

I'm trying to figure out the livestream right now so we can have it ready for next week.

Got it all figured out. free livestream is pretty slow, but I'm uploading an episode right now so I can test the playback quality.

The max upload is only 1 gig. So if a movie exceeds it, I'll have to break in in half and set up a storyboard to play them both back to back.

It took about 30 mins for a 22 min episode to upload. I don't mind taking the time and uploading everything as long as we decide what to watch 2 days before. That way I have time to download, edit if needed, upload and give livestream time to convert the media.

Check the playback quality and tell me what you think, I'll have an episode of Gintama playing all day.

Oh hell no son. Since the general tone of this idea was liked for Op I'll assume it will work well with other anime as well. I'm going to make a thread for what we should watch next week.

I'm leaving this one open so people can check out the channel and see how well the play back quality is. It's not great but its not bad either.
