Anime Top 5: WTF?!?!

Anyone who watches Anime can tell you that there is probably an anime for everything. You might also know that there are some very “special” individuals out in the who have Idea’s that somehow, through method’s that are hidden in the shadows of Japan, somehow managed to get funded and developed as an anime. An Anime that will blow all common sense out the Window and leave you staring at a Blank TV an hour after the show has ended.
Whether its cross-dressing guys or a gun-toting hyper aging baby, this is the top 5 weirdest Anime:


5: FLCL



Probably the most popular show on this List. FLCL follows Naota Nandaba, a twelve-year-old boy living in the fictional Japanese suburb of Mabase, and his interactions with Haruko Haruhara, who arrives in the quiet suburb, drawn by the industrial town houses and the Medical Mechanica building.
The Above Premise doesn’t sound so weird, however, when Robot’s start growing out of people’s foreheads, erratic change in animation all over the place and some of the most quirky and spontaneous characters you’ve ever met in one of the strangest most vague plot’s you can think of, then you will know how strange FLCL is. Wonderfully, wonderfully strange.


4: Excel Saga



Excel Saga is one that’s just for Anime Fans. A parody show making fun of other Anime Genre’s and Shows, Excel Saga focuses on secret organization Across plans to conquer the world. The first step in the plan for world domination is to begin by focusing on one city in order to minimize setbacks. Across consists of the leader of the organization, Il Palazzo, and officers Excel and Hyatt. Excel and Hyatt live in an apartment building in the city, along with their pet dog Menchi, who is also their emergency food supply.
This show is Crazy and completely random, and the split second you think that you can see a semblance of plot, it throws it out the window just to spite you. This show is weird, but you will Laugh and Laugh at these crazy Antics such as when Excel tries to murder the Excel Saga Manga artist and south American illegal foreigner, Pedro gets Married to the universe Incarnate.


3: Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo



One of 2 things will come out of Watching 5 minutes of Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo: Either you will instantly turn off the TV and walk away, trying to forget that it ever happened or you will be so mesmerized by the utterly random shenanigans that you won’t be able to avert your eyes and have no choice but to just stare Slack Jawed.
In this series, the entire world is under the tyrannical rule of the Maruhage Empire, and their ruler, Tsuru Tsurulina IV. His Hair Hunt troop captures innocent bystanders’ hair, leaving the people bald and their villages in ruins. Standing against this evil regime is the heroic, but bizarre, rebel, Bobobo-Bo Bo-Bobo, who fights the Hair Hunt Troop with his powerful Fist of the Nose Hair. His team consists of the normal teen girl Beauty, the smelly teen warrior Heppokomaru and the Hajike leader Don Patch .
Full of Puns, Cross-dressing, Breaking the Fourth Wall, Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo takes it’s silliness and just runs with it, creating a hypnotic series that you hate for loving it so much.


2: Dead Leaves



Created by the same team that Made the Amazing Toppa Tengen Gurren Laggan team, Dead leaves is the Complete opposite of that show. It’s crazy, violent, makes no sense and is the greatest affair of visual chaos you have ever seen.
Dead Leaves follows Retro and Pandy as they awaken naked on Earth with no memories of their pasts, but with great physical capabilities.. After embarking on a brief but devastating crime spree, they are captured by authorities and sent to the infamous prison called Dead Leaves, on the half-destroyed Moon.
This show travels at such a fast pace that there is no time to question anything: Why does Retro have a TV for a head? How do you escape Prison with sex? Why does that one guy in the Background have a drill for a penis?!?!?!


1: Cat Soup



I really don’t know what to say about this one. I mean, it’s won several Awards such as an Excellence Prize (Animation Division) at the 2001 Japan Media Arts Festival,the “Best Short Film” award at the 2001 Fantasia Festival and the Silver Award for Animation 2003 New York Exposition of Short Film and Video, So everyone should enjoy it… If anyone could ever figure out what Happens.
So I guess there’s a family of Cat’s, and the Little Sister dies of… something… and then the Older Brother Cat goes on some journey to get her soul back from death where…

Haven't seen any of em. Tried ep 1 of FLCL but didn't go through with it.

Been meaning to try FLCL because I have heard it's really wtf

I used to see Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo play on toonami but I never liked it lol.
