Actually if they make a story like this, I think it's even better than original story ;o It was cool, sad and interesting, I hope there'll be more episodes(well there should be).

Yeah i wanna know how he got into deadman wonderland. I also got alot more respect for him now. I liked him in the original story but seeing what hes been through.. all i can say is damn..

Watched the Deadman ova last night cause I finally had some downtime. It was badass. I thought for sure that's how he was going to get into the prison. Then they're building it at the end of the ova like wtf? I hope they do another one for Senji. But they might do another back story on some other characters as well, that just seems like their type of thing, lots of characters were in the anime without much backstory. Although I haven't read the manga yet so I'm not sure if they included more in it.

Also, anyone watch the original HunterxHunter that is seriously pissed with the new voice over cast in the remake?

I was gonna watch it but then I read the one airing now is a thousand times worse than the original, so I decided nott o watch it. I might watch the original when I have nothing to watch

I never watched the original i'm pretty happy with the remake, i might watch the original later on.

Is not bad at all i like it, pretty much a new thing for me. Kind of reminds me of the old school anime like dragonball.

If you never watched the original it shouldn't bother you too much. But seriously. Imagine an anime you like getting remade with a different cast and voice over crew. Reminds me like how they brutalized Dragon Ball Z by making Kai.

I liked it too. But then again I'm a huge fan of the Last Exile series. Especially since this new one has the same director, 2 of the same artists and the music is being done by Hitomi Kuroishi again. Plus, they're bringing back 3 of the old voice over crew. Can't wait to watch more.

HA, I just watched that today. I loved the Persona games on Playstation. But seriously Rene, give HunterxHunter a chance on the original. You might like it more, and its already completed.
