Re: Sports Thread
Don't Milan have some rich guy behind the scenes who gives them money? Juve have John Elkann, owner of Fiat. Many Italian clubs are bound with some rich guy or family.
Well Milan has Berlusconi, but like you said, nothings gonna come from him.

0. Boateng doesn't fail.
I don't know what that logo is doing there.
And tell Milan to secure CL place in the first minute of the match next time and not in the 88th minute or something
Don't worry, next season Milan will win and there won't be any doubts about getting in CL.
Barely made it... I hope Milan will find some money from somewhere to get a better squad.
For Milan to find some money a miracle needs to happen. Berlusconi lost a lot of money and he's gonna run Milan to the ground before he sells it. So I don't think we will see any money in Milan anytime soon.
Yeah... I have read about it. Kinda sad

One thing for sure... Kaka would still be a top class football player. Can't believe how hard Real ruined him Well he's still good, but he doesn't get much play time

I am running an active Confederation Cup thread on AU forums. I watch every game and give a nice review about the matches ^^

Re: Sports Thread
How about we get some discussion on the forum as well? I would be glad to do that. But I won't be watching all of the matches, just on the teams I want to watch games from. USA, Spain etc.

Ovyda;1140622 wrote:Man...such great game! ^^ I am Spain's fan, but I didn't expect to see such amazing quality Total domination in the 1st half. They could have done the same in the 2nd half, but it was obvious they are just playing around with Uruguay and waiting for the game to end.
What was most amazing imo, wasn't how Spanish players were passing to each other, but how they pressured opponents whenever they lost the ball. Has anyone else noticed? Uruguay barely kept the ball whenever they had it because instantly like 3-5 players surround Uruguayan player with the ball and intercept it. Such domination, just wow! That's how champions play after all
I was really happy that Soldado and Pedro were in the starting line up. I had a huge argue with a friend about this. He was saying Spain will lose because Soldado and Pedro are in the line up while Mata and Silva on the bench. It was such a good feeling when I could say "Yo football expert, you said something?"
Oh yeah, thank you Italy and Spain for winning me more money ^^ I love this Cup, winning all bets
Btw... again what a shitty referee. The foul in the end on Soldado was a definite red card since it was last hope foul...but... no red, no yellow, no foul at all given like WTF???????

I like alot of players from Uruguay, but i don't like this team at all. Never have, they never play how they are suppose to :/ Amazing free kick by Suarez and deserved win by Spain.
@Italy match, I still can't believe Barzagli lost the ball like that and gave away a penalty making a red card foul.. I support Juventus so i watch him play evry week, sometimes even twice a week, i have never seen him make such a mistake. He's always solid usually. Ohwell, i guess evryone makes mistakes.
Italy's 2nd goal was also nice. De Rossi pass, Giaccherini did what he does once in a while, show a little brilliance and Mario finished like a pro. I always like it when he scores and like Ovyda said, ofcourse he took off his shirt
Mexico played decent. I've known for a while now that they have a decent team and they proved that again today.

Re: Sports Thread
Brazil world cup website got hacked. It's showing protests now.
http://copaemcuiaba.com.br/
They don't want people to come, so things can change. Government spent shitload of money on new stadiums while people barely survive every day.
