Dragon Ball....subbed or dubbed?
From what I've researched the subbed version is quite more accurate and funnier at times, but I'd like to hear what you guys think.

I have never seen DB or DBZ subs. So IMO I would go dub. Also I'm kind of surprise you have never seen DB before.

Yeah that's why I started it. And lol I'm already at 16 and I've been watching it subbed, too late to switch to dubs.

Re: Dragon Ball....subbed or dubbed?
Finally you're watching it. One advice i'll give you is, don't take it as serious as One Piece because then it will suck. Just enjoy the characters and the action. About the sub/dub thing, i watched it dubbed as a kid when it was on cartoon network, so naturally i love the dub. Goku's voice sounds so awesome there. However i'm now watching it subbed from DB to DBZ to DBGT and while i haven't gotten to Z yet, i'm not disappointed so far.

Because you'll be disappointed. Idk how to explain, you'll probably know when you watched enough of it. Don't get me wrong, i love the story, but it can't compare to One Piece or Naruto. Dragon Ball's strongest points are the characters and the action.
How are you watching btw? First DB or first DBZ?

I'm watching DB first. What's the difference between DB and DBZ anyway? I'm going by the order in which they aired.

Good. The timeline is DB-DBZ-DBGT. DB is Goku as a kid, DBZ is Goku as an adult and parent, DBGT is Goku as an older adult and a grandfather.

No doubt the best dub for Dragon Ball, but i don't think Kisser will understand it. Maybe Lithuanian audio and english sub?

Re: Dragon Ball....subbed or dubbed?
Actually it was rather decent dubs but it sounds weird since I'm used to Japanese now.Bato wrote:Ovyda wrote:I watched Lithuanian dubs LOL

Re: Dragon Ball....subbed or dubbed?
Thought I posted here already. Dub is great, grew up with it. Sub is also great, did my second time watching with it. No real complaints with either it just breaks down to preference on the voices. I tend to like the japanese voices a bit more. Especially when you get into DBZ and Freiza sounds like a transvestite.
Re: Dragon Ball....subbed or dubbed?
yeah I like it subbed, although I've watched the dubbed version with my little brother and its pretty decent too.
