5: Pupa
Top 5 must watch fall 2013 Maxresdefault4
This show looks messed up. Seriously.
Pupa is the “life-and-death sibling” story follows Utsutsu and Yume Hasegawa, a boy and his little sister who find themselves all alone. One day, Yume sees a mysterious red butterfly and her body undergoes a strange metamorphosis—into a creature that eats humans. Utsutsu struggles to find a way to restore his sister.
If that Synopsis didn’t scream Gore-fest to you then how about the Brothers Character description:
“The older brother of Yume Hasegawa. He cares deeply for his sister and will do anything for her. Including letting her feast on his flesh. Normally he is nice and friendly but after being infected with pupa, another side has emerged. A more violent and merciless side.”
The guy lets his little sister eat bits of his own flesh?!?!
This show looks like it’s going to be extremely gruesome and disturbing… everything we wants out of a horror Anime.

4: BlazBlue: Alter Memory
Top 5 must watch fall 2013 BlazBlue
Fans of the spiritual successor to Guilty Gear, The awesome fighting game BlazBlue, rejoice as the game is getting an Anime Adaptation giving you a better detailed look and feel of the intersting story that games (quite badly) tried to tell.
The Story of Blazblue: Alter Memory takes place in a world where humanity was on the verge of extinction from a creature called the “Black Beast.” The world was saved by six heroes who wielded magic. They helped humanity create “Ars Magus”, a fusion of magic and science, to defeat the Black Beast. This event would be later known as the First War of Magic.
After the war, the Novus Orbis Librarium (the Library or NOL for short) was created to govern the world with the use of Ars Magus. A great deal of dissent was caused by the Library, partly due to Ars Magus’ use in nearly every facet of society, and the widening socioeconomic gap between those who could and couldn’t use Ars Magus. This dissent would eventually form years later into the Second War of Magic or also known as the Ikaruga Civil War, when the city of Ikaruga openly rebelled against the NOL. Upon winning the war, the NOL imposed a harsher rule on the world, punishing any rebellion against the NOL with death.
In December A.D. 2199, several years after the Second War of Magic, a branch of the NOL was utterly destroyed by an SS-class rebel named “Ragna” also known as the “Grim Reaper”, in an attempt to destroy the Librarium. The NOL, hoping to stop him, immediately announced the largest bounty ever, available to anyone who could capture him. Interestingly, Ragna possesses a powerful form of Ars Magus known as the “Azure Grimoire.” This led the NOL, as well as the other fighters, to hunt Ragna not just for his bounty, but also his Azure Grimoire.
Alter Memory is a retelling of the story that took place in the first game of the BlazBlue Series:  Calamity trigger and I am excited to watch the action packed fight scenes that are sure to take place.

3: Gingitsune

This seems like it is going to be THE feel-good Anime of the season.
The story’s setting is in Present Day Japan in the city of Edo, where spirits and humans have been living in harmony. Makoto Saeki, the daughter of a Shrine Priest in a Shinto Shrine is living a good life after her mother died. However, she has an unusual gift when she can see the messenger of the gods: an anthropomorphic fox named Gintaro. Both of them were close friends to each other and Makoto is keeping this a secret even to her father. The story follows their everyday lives of the two as a go-between for the gods and humans.
I am excited for this Anime as it seems like it might offer something beautifully charming and heartwarming to the viewer, also how can you go wrong when you throw adorable Animal spirits into the mix.
This is going to be the perfect anime to calm yourself down after watching something Like Pupa….

If you love Anime for intense action and crazy fight scenes, this is the one to keep your eye on as it takes a new stance on the whole fighting and tournament genre of Anime.
The story is set in the early 20th century, and Raishin Akabane is a student puppeteer from Japan, who has come to the Walpurgis Royal Academy of Machine Arts in England to study the emerging field of Machinart: a combination of magic and technology with military applications. He is accompanied by a girl named Yaya, who is actually his Automaton: a living machine doll powered by magical circuits specialized in hand-to-hand combat. In the Academy, there is a combat tournament exclusive to the Top 100 students and their automata, to decide who shall be bestowed with the title of “Wiseman”, the greatest puppeteer.
Also known as Unbreakable Machine Doll, This is a dueling type Anime at its core and in that regard we can hope for some epic fight scenes to leave our jaws firmly dropped to the ground.

1: Kill la Kill

From the creators of the amazing Gurren Lagann and animation from the impressive Trigger  Company comes a brand new anime Kill la Kill, which looks to be the most interesting thing to come out of the Anime Industry all year
The story of Kill La Kill takes place in a high school where students possess uniforms that give them various powers and abilities. Here, student council president Satsuki Kiryūin rules by force. However, a transfer student named Ryūko Matoi stands in her way, wielding a scissor sword and a possessed school uniform.
The art style and characters seems extremely reminiscent of Gurren Lagann, which everyone that watched it should know is never a bad thing.
The character’s seem fun and interesting, especially the main character Ryūko Matoi, who seems to be the spiritual successor to Kamina from Gurren Lagann as the trailers put across a rebellious character that refuses to give up  and enjoys challenge.
This show looks like it has everything from creative and talented Directors, Unique Art, and what looks to be some awesome and intense fight scenes, this should be a crazy ride.
Kill la Kill Looks like it is the resurrection of old Gainax as that is what Trigger company is: The best parts of Gainax creatively broken free.

I'm not sure what to watch yet =\ Definitely Kill La Kill though, just hoping it won't end up like guilty crown (which was also hyped up a lot)
