do they sell so much manga in french and german? lots of titles are not even translated in english yet (officially) and already have been released in french and german .__.

American anime publishers look for mangas that are popular with English speaking fans. They won't risk giving out money to only get a few cents in return. They want to make sure they are investing in something that will get them money. Also French and Germans might have different tastes so that might have something to do with it.
