Oxford or Oregon
which is better?
I'm pretty gosh darn sure that nobody here has been to both places but anywhooooooooo
Which would you choose?
This will most-likely decide where I go to and whatnot, and I have nobody to ask but you guys cause you are the closest thing to family...
Oregon US vs Oxford UK
I just realized they both start with O & U and have six letters... and two O's, anyways.
Facts;
Oregon, US
Oxford, UK
Sooo those are some things I can think of about going
I guess it's kind of a contradiction but I love trees and the outdoors but I also love buildings with steel, concrete, and wood. I always lived in the city so I can't really imagine myself living like- in woods but I do want to go. But if i go to Oxford I get to travel here and there more, possibly learn more and be influenced more. stuff like that comes into conflict and I can't debate.
If you have to pick one or the other where would you go?
and don't give me the- go where you wanna go or what you wanna study crap. I like both... otherwise I wouldn't be asking.

Re: which is better?
To me the Oregon one sounds better. But thats me and based on my opinion. I know you dont wanna hear this but it stays your decission and you know best what you want.
The Oregon one is more of a change and that would also be 1 of the reasons i would pick that one. But then again, the Oxford 1 is a different country and also a huge change overall.
Ovyda could probably give you more advice about studying in UK.
But still, i cant possibly decide for you since this is a major decission in your life.

Re: which is better?
I can't pick- I've been debating this for maybe four months now...
I just keep finding more pros and cons and it's like-
omgat, ima just not go to school then. (no way this is real but still...)

It's not much that I want advice about studying- I mean ovyda's great but
just thinking besides school... like life and all...

Re: which is better?
Then the ''simple'' question would be.. do you want the UK or nature.

Re: which is better?
I honestly always think US>UK as a country. However, Oxford would be my choice to study. I'd rather be sociable and stay in a city.
I don't know what you expect us to say, because it has to be your choice... You should know better what you want. Don't forget that it's your future and we are just virtual buddies, who shouldn't influence your real life that much in my opinion.
Try to think of a country. Do you want US or UK and only then think about universities... Trust me, to live in a country where you don't like it, is worse than studying in uni which you don't like it.
