Before you decided on what ram you want to buy, tell me, is your OS 64bit or 32?

Answer me and i will let you know what you need to buy.

Edit: I'm explain it a little better.

You can't really use more than 3.25GB of ram in a 32bit system, for you to use more ram you will need to upgrade to a 64bit system. You also need to keep in mind, that if you are thinking of upgrading to a 64bit system, you need to make sure that your hardware supports it. You will need to figure out if you CPU and Motherboard have 64bit support on them. Also keep in mind that 64bit comes with a trade, some of your current hardware drivers might not work.

I would recommend you to find out, and think before you buy. What good does it to you if you buy more than 4GB if you cant use them?

And what if some of your hardware doesn't work on it.

What i would do. Buy a new graphics card, and just get an extra GB to make it 3.

Or if i had the money, just in case my hardware dint have support for 64bit, i would buy a new computer all together.

Now, i need to know your current power supply's output. If I'm correct by looking at the previous screenshot, is a 400W right?

Go with anything you like. If i where you i go with XFX they got a lifetime warranty. At least for my graphics card. Not so sure about the one you want to buy.

Also make sure to double check, if your current power supply is on this list.

http://support.amd.com/us/certified/power-supplies/Pages/listing.aspx

Remember some times even if you have the min power a graphics card said it uses, that doesn't mean it will work for you. Oh and don't pick that club 3D i never heard of them. More info can be found here.

You got to open the case, just make sure you are touching the metal of the case at all times with both hands, don't ever touch anything inside unless you know what you are doing, your body produces electricity, so you can shock a circuit out. The information you are looking for should be on the side of the power supply.

Also please disconnect your computer from the power when you do this.

Card is good, go for what ever you want to buy, just double checking. Is that the type of ram for your system?

Don't you get a converter for free when you buy a GFX card? Or is that the DVI-HDMI converter?
