Counter Strike Clan Thread

I'm gonna start pushing forward with the Counter Strike Clan. We will be playing on Counter Strike 1.6 because there's were all the pros are and Counter Strike Condition Zero is slowly becoming less populated by the month. But the package, if you do decide to buy it, includes 1.6 and cz for $9.99 so you get both anyways.

First of all you're going to wanna download Steam. It's a 1.5 mb client that runs the games, something like ijji copied with their reactor. Except Steam has thousands of games for demo and purchase.

After you download and install you will see the login screen. From there you can create your steam account for free.

After you create your account go to http://store.steampowered.com/sub/7/ to view the game info and then scroll down to add to cart.

After you add it to your cart you'll click Purchase for myself. And then be prompted to log into your steam account. Continue to fill in with the payment method and you'll be set to purchase it.

Games purchased through steam show up on the steam client. Go to the top of the steam window and click on the games tab and click View Games Library. From there it will show you your purchased games and then you can click Counter Strike and install.

When you finish with all of this you can add me to your steam friends list under the name Sporadic_Bullet

If you already have steam, please post your account name so we can add each other. I will also be creating a steam group for our clan so we can easily advertise our forum and everything else we're doing in the community and clan.

Hope this was of use. I'll be starting making the cs clan tomorrow if anyone wishes to log on and play I'll see ya then.

Our clan tag will be [nL] Checked around on google, no popular clans use this tag. Some use different variations of it though as there is many no limit clans in many different games already.

So when you start playing change your name in options to w/e with the clan tag in front of it. So for example mine will be [nL] Sporadic

No it's not. cod is just like any other fps game, which got extremely played out and boring. cs is over 10 years old with over 9,000 maps and mods with hundreds of thousands of people still playing it. In 1 year cod won't be as popular while cs will remain the same. Can't fuck with a classic
