Update

I've made this forum more restricted like the old one was. New registrants have virtually no posting access on this forum. They can view all the sections. And send PMs. The only section they can post in is Site information and Introductions. The default PM you receive when you register on the forum now includes instructions on how to activate the rest of your account. I did this for a number of reasons.

First is to cut down spam from randoms to practically nothing without having to actually lock the board down to admin account activation. Face it, proxies can get around bans. It's not stopping anyone to proxy and make a new account after IP ban. Now, if they do proxy and make a new account. They won't be able to do anything on it.

Second is so I can setup a restricted group account. Permissions here are set differently so I had to make another group for restricted users. And since the way forum permissions work, I had to make new registrants limited, made a second forum user group for the active people who post here and aren't in the clan so I could restrict users without restricting them all.

The Restricted User group has basically no privileges except view sections.

New people who register have to PM me or make an introduction to get the rest of their account confimed.

How's changing your mac address easier than using a web proxy? I can tor with one button.

I can change my internet card mac with one click as well. and i dont use proxy or anything like that.

If you're doing stuff that makes you wanna change your mac address so often maybe you should consider tor.

Yeah but what i don't like about tor is that. Some time people set up proxies and they can see what you been doing in it.

No, they can only sniff off your exit nodes. And there's always ways around that
