Well the characters are kind of dull. L-efl's reasoning for his actions simply make no sense, main character is just like shuu from guilty crown.

The plot twists are awkward, like shoko standing on the giant robot and telling everybody what to do.
The thing that annoys me the most is how the people are in an intergalactic war and still we have to focus on some silly high-school crush

Wait. What's wrong with L-Elf? He's definitely the best character there.

Haruto is indeed another failure like Shuu, but I still have hopes he will become tougher...

The creation of student country was definitely the biggest fail imo this show has done... Too much like Guilty Crown and Code Geass (although this one makes sense, since the same script writer).

I still see good potential for this anime. Saki and L-Elf becomes pilots as well, Shoko finds out about Haruto and Saki and HOPEFULLY she becomes yandere But to be serious, I am still waiting for L-Elf to take some action as he's one of the main characters and go on all out war against Dorsian, who apparently have higher technology and more advanced military units as well.

We shouldn't forget that anime has awesome OP/ED and good animation, which definitely adds up to its popularity. I think that script writer is the same as CG has some addition to this popularity as well, as people expect something great.

I am sure there's a reason. He mentioned that his revolution was supposed to happen 6 years later, but since he met Haruto and was already portrayed as an enemy for his own kind, I believe he took the advantage of it and advanced the plan. We didn't hear the reason yet, simply because there was no time for him to explain it, since Haruto declined his offer.
