The wraparound jacket band on the fifth and sixth full-color volumes of Daisuke Satō and Shoji Sato's Highschool of the Dead manga confirmed this week that the manga is resuming. However, it did not specify a timeframe. The manga has been on hiatus since March 2011.

Here is an update.

Highschool of the Dead Manga to Resume HOTD2013spring

Highschool of the Dead is set to return from hiatus in the spring of 2013. I think we can probably expect it to return in April or May, with an official announcement coming next month. If they delayed it until June, though, I wouldn't be the least bit surprised.

High school of the Dead manga is back. The new chapter was release April 9th (Yesterday, for us Today) in Japan, it should only take a few days until we get the translation.
