These were shown on my TV when I was little+Lithuanian language. Back then about animation or story or something like that I really didn't care. Right now I prefer to watch good new ones more than old good ones. Makes sense?

Only saw DBZ and Pokemon as a kid. Never watched Digimon adn YuGiOh.

When I was a kid I watched most of the great anime we come to know today. At the time I didn't know what anime was. Lol.

But the thing is, the older anime is what gave all of these new shows the ideas they have. There's a few exceptions. But anime in the 2000 era aren't held in higher regard than the 90s stuff. There's a reason for that and you're only missing out on great stuff. Guess its just a generation thing.
