I dont like That was just your life that much. I heard it in a concert video once and it was better but thats cuz ur totally into it at that moment. Im not sure but i think Death Magnetic was that disgrace album they made. The one the fans were furious about. Metallica even admitted it was shit later on lol. Not completely sure if it was Death Magnetic tho.

And then they made LuLu with Lou Reed -_- At that moment i thought please stop making albums Metallica, pls just do tours.

I still think that tho. They cant make the epic songs they made back in the 80s and 90s anymore and it will only hurt their reputation if they keep going. If they just do live concerts it would be fine with me. They are still amazing in concert.

It was St. Anger, not Death Magnetic. Death Magnetic was their return to their old style.
And they didn't make LuLu with Lou Reed, Lou Reed made LuLu with Metallica, it's not a real album of theirs Smile

The biggest part I miss, is the attitude in their live concerts. They were so raw back in the 80s and 90s and James' voice was perfect.
But despite how much they've changed, they're still fucking legends and if I could get an opportunity to go see them, I would.

By the way, St. Anger is special in a way, if you look at the shit the band was going through around that time. Jason Newsted left, James Hetfield went to rehab. There was a lot of hatred and anger in the band back then. The album is very in your face, as Hetfield described: "This is anger and here it is".

Idk, they play a lot of songs way too fast nowadays. It totally kills the energy of some songs. For example "Fuel", "For Whom The Bell Tolls", even "Fade To Black", just to name a few. Then again, if I could go see them, I still would Smile

Going to my 3rd Kamelot concert tomorrow, MEETING them AND my favorite female vocalist Elize Ryd this time too, life is awesome. I'm so pumped, can hardly wait.

The first two support acts are meh though (Blackguard/Therion, but no one probably knows them anyway), Xandria however is awesome. Granted that they'll get the longest setlist out of all 3.

Been looking forward to this since February, the new album and vocalist are AWESOME. Neckache, heavy head and shredded vocal cords, here we come! \m/
